"The wolf letters" Saturday Jan 2, 2010 02:10

Dear wolf members,

This is the last letter that i am writing just HOURS before the winter sun rises and a horrible day in swedens history will begin.

The first official hunt for our nations beautiful and peaceful WOLF is to start for the first time in 45 years.

SKK ( Swedish Kennel Club) supports this decision based on data collected from hunting dog accidents that were so wrong and blownout of proportion that not even AGRIA ( Animal Insurance ) could confirm any of the claims. In contrary they in many accidents concerning dogs said wild boars (wildsvin) must have caused damage. But the hunters would rather have TROFÈ hunt for wolf!

A small population of some 230 wolf already affected by illegal hunters, trappers, and animal haters is planned to be ”lowered” in count by 10% to still the large hunting lobbyist groups wanting the forrests free of any animal that will compete with their SPORT shooting. 27 wolf will lawfully die but we fear massive overshooting and secondary death due to incompetens and/or identification problems choosing a target by the many hunters.

This IS the bare and naked truth everyone.. Just read and look at the published facts ! And help us stop it..

9 million Swedes- 12,000 armed hunters and some 220 Wolfs,
It just feels wrong wrong wrong !

As we are growing in members our main objective still remains the same. To STOP the LICENSE HUNT as SOON AS POSSIBLE !

We do NOT accept TROFE` hunting for wolf.
In this day and age a ”sollution” should not become the problem.

THIS LICENSEHUNT IS ILLEGAL AND BREAKS EVERY WILDLIFE LAWS IN THE EU. THE WOLF IS AN ENDANGERED ANIMAL !

Founded by bad information and questionable data government people have made premature decisions based on WRONG facts..

THIS IS A TROFÈ HUNT.. STOP IT NOW !
