Live from Kolmarden Animal Park - Meet and Watch the Wolves

Meet and watch the wolves of Kolmarden Animal Park, and learn how beautiful, intelligent, social and gentle these animals are.

Park´s director, zoologist Mats Hoggren explains their social habbits, clarifies some myths, talks about their nature. He also pointed out that wolves are an endangered species, threatened by extinction.

  1. Even though I couldn't understand a word of what they were saying I loved watching the wolves. How lucky he is to touch and pet one. You could tell one of the wolves was the omega, it would tuck it's tail and grovel to the higher ranking wolves. Great stuff Katerina!

    Yes, it is pretty amazing! I am planning to visit Kolmarden this comming summer. I can´t wait!
    I think we are really fortunate to have this park, which does a great job educating the public about wolves, their social habbits and life. And mainly teaching people how wonderful beings wolves are.
    I most sincerly recommend visit Kolmardern, if anyone has a chance.

    Yes, I also noticed the omega wolf - the submission it expressed to all the higher ranked pack members. How beautifuly and wisely they communicate!
